Curriculum Mapping
Elentra assists in mapping pharmacy competencies such as pharmacology, therapeutics, and patient care to the standards and key elements of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP). ACPE-accredited programs can map didactic and experiential curriculum to educational outcomes adapted from AACP's Curriculum Outcomes and Entrustable Professional Activities (COEPA), and document breadth and depth across required didactic content areas. CCAPP-accredited programs can map to the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) Educational Outcomes and National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Professional Competencies for Canadian Pharmacists at Entry to Practice. Track student progress, ensure curriculum alignment, and streamline accreditation readiness through real-time insights and reporting.
Experiential Learning
Manage experiential learning, including Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE), with real-time visibility into practice site and preceptor capacity across community pharmacy, ambulatory care, and hospital/health-system settings. Balance placements, manage preceptor assignments and affiliation agreements, and track evaluations and experiential hours. Ensure students meet ACPE experiential requirements—such as IPPE clock hours, APPE hours across, and the four required APPE practice settings—alongside elective APPEs.
Assessment & Evaluation
Assess pharmacy students on knowledge, communication, and therapeutic decision-making using exams, OSCEs, and experiential evaluations. Align curriculum content with the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) or the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) exams, and assess student performance of the pharmacist patient care process across didactic and experiential settings. Generate the evidence programs need to demonstrate that students are APPE-ready and that graduates are practice-ready and team-ready, and triangulate internal performance data with AACP standardized surveys of graduating students, faculty, and preceptors.
Learning Management
Coordinate pharmacy coursework across topics such as pharmacokinetics, compounding, and patient care. Elentra manages schedules, materials, and assessments while supporting blended learning, facilitating student engagement through interactive modules and integrated tools for instruction, collaboration, and feedback.
Data & Accreditation
Leverage performance data to track outcomes, identify gaps, and support continuous quality improvement. Elentra simplifies self-study preparation for ACPE or CCAPP accreditation with detailed analytics, curriculum mapping reports, and longitudinal tracking of competencies and student progression. Support experiential quality assurance by standardizing evaluation components across all sites offering the same experiential course, and assess preceptor quality and capacity against enrollment.
Competency-Based Education
Monitor student progression toward entry-to-practice competencies across the Pre-APPE curriculum and experiential learning. Elentra supports entrustment decisions against COEPA entrustable professional activities, documents readiness at the Pre-APPE-to-APPE transition, and enables timely remediation — giving educators longitudinal visibility into individual student development and the aggregate data needed to identify curricular gaps.
