Board of Directors
Meet the Leaders Shaping the Future of Health Professions Education
Our Board of Directors is dedicated to advancing the field of health professions education, bringing a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to driving progress.
Our Journey from University Partnerships to Empowering Health Professions Education Worldwide
Founded in 2008, our roots lie in a collaboration between Queen’s University, the University of Calgary, and UCLA, who sought a more effective platform for delivering medical education. Around the same time, Duke University School of Medicine introduced LCMS+, which later evolved into DaVinci Education. Recently, our two organizations united to create a company supporting over 50 institutions, across fields such as Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Allied Health, and more.
Additionally, our organization includes Benchworks, a platform initially designed to meet the graduate-level assessment needs of Nursing programs. Today, Benchworks serves hundreds of Nursing schools across the U.S., providing data collection and benchmarking solutions.
Our history is deeply rooted in the philosophy of being “by schools, for schools.” Collaboration with our member institutions is at the heart of our mission, enabling us to co-create features and share the stewardship of our platform. This partnership ensures not only the success of our platform but also the growth and success of the institutions we serve.
