Elentra Staff Spotlight – Aaron Yin, Customer Success Manager

This month, we get to know Aaron Yin, Customer Success Manager, Elentra Corp

Q: How long have you been with Elentra?

I have been working at Elentra since December 2021 from our global headquarters in Kingston, Ontario.

Q: What were you doing before this?

Before joining Elentra, I worked in consulting for post-secondary education and entrepreneurial investment overseas, as well as a certified healthcare interpreter.

Q: What attracted you to Elentra?

I was really attracted to Elentra’s community-sourced product development, management, and support, and also the diverse approaches we adopt to meet our clients’ needs on curriculum delivery, mapping, and the evolution of post-pandemic education. I was inspired by a comment from a fellow colleague that as an education hub inheriting abundant resources from consortium partners, we are supporting health science programs in a platform built by schools for schools, with a shared mission of educating the next generation of healthcare practitioners.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

I enjoy helping our institutional clients investigate, test, and deliver optimal solutions for curriculum innovation with our talented ICS development team. The collective efforts of expertise from our team and highly valued clients’ insights are iterating Elentra towards a cutting-edge advanced education management platform.

Q: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I initialized and coordinated a localization project of an open-access medical learning platform with 80 medical students and practitioners in Asia. The team reached 200,000 subscribers lately while augmenting knowledge retention and diffusing the concept of health literacy throughout the pandemic across language barriers. This also overlaps with my passion and motivation when supporting our clients in five time zones at Elentra.

Q: What is your favorite meal?

Chicken with stir-fried vegetables (green peppers, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots)

Q: Do you have any pets?

Not yet. I am thinking of adopting a Goldendoodle.
